Melboards is a plywood distributor, with plywoods stocked from both local and overseas sustainably managed resources. We supply:

MDF
Melboards stocks a full range of standard MDF (medium density fibreboard) panels. All our MDF is manufactured in Australia to Australian standards. We stock 3mm, 4.75mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 16mm, 18mm, 25mm and 32mm MDF in 2400 x 1200 sheets, with a range of other sizes: 2400 x 1800, 2700 x 1200; 3600 x 1200; 3600 x 1800 available in 9mm, 12mm, 16mm and 18mm MDF.
All our MDF is LFE - low formaldehyde emission - and meets the E1 classification as specified by the Australian Standard for these products. In addition, we stock a modest range of E0, or ultra-low emission, and moisture resistant (MR) MDF panels. Other sizes are available on request.

Particleboard
Melboards stocks a full range of particleboard (chipboard) panels in both standard and MR (moisture resistant) grades. All our particleboard is manufactured in Australia to Australian standards. We stock 12mm, 16mm and 18mm standard and HMR particleboard in 2400 x 1200 sheets and 25mm standard particleboard in 2700 x 1200 sheets. In addition, we stock tongue and groove particleboard flooring in 19mm and 22mm thicknesses. Other sizes are available on request.

Melamines and laminates
We supply the Decoline and Formica tradesmen’s ranges of melamines, with accompanying edgetapes. In addition, we regularly source melamines from all the major manufacturers. Melboards also supplies laminates from all the major Australian manufacturers and distributors. We can supply this either as laminate sheets or made to order as benchtops.

Whiteboard
Melboards stocks a range of whiteboard (white melamine on particleboard or MDF), used extensively in the cabinet making trade, in both standard and MR grades. We stock: 12mm and 16mm whiteboard on STD particleboard; 16mm and 18mm whiteboard on both STD and MR/HMR particleboard; and 16mm and 18mm whiteboard on both standard and MR MDF in a range of different panel sizes. Other thicknesses and panel sizes are available on request.

Timber veneers
We supply a range of natural timber veneers on MDF, plywood and particleboard. substrates Species we stock include Jarrah, Tasmanian Oak, Blackwood and Pine. Many other species and a number of different thicknesses and panel sizes are available on request.

Hardboards and other
Melboards stocks a range of specialist hardboard products including masonite (standard and tempered), masonite braceboard and pegboard. We also supply a range of other specialist panel products, including weathertex and softboard.
